This park features meadows, forested and shrub wetlands, streams and wildlife with an integrated multi-use trail system. Primary and secondary loops throughout the park. Primary trails are handicap accessible, made of crushed stone and re-purposed millings from Monroe County and town road projects. The Don Cranson Bridge crosses Commission Ditch.
Our town facilities are monitored daily by security officers. If you have a park problem or emergency, security may be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 340-8618 and weekday evenings and weekends at 329-0131. The park ordinance is strictly enforced with appearance tickets. Please call 911 to report any emergencies and public safety issues.
Please note: Vandalism in any park is expensive and senseless. Help us keep the Town of Penfield parks beautiful. Also remember not to park in handicapped zones, emergency or fire lanes, as tickets are issued regularly. **IMPORTANT REMINDER - Dogs must be leashed on Town park property at all times and owners are responsible for cleaning up after the dog. Tickets are issued.
